Itinerary
An experience like Merzouga Camel Trekking, a night in the desert, and watching the sunset in the middle of the dunes are absolutely priceless.
In order to enjoy the magic of the desert, this overnight camel trip in Merzouga departs from the Kasbah Hotel in the late afternoon (16 or 17 depending on the season). Reaching the desert camp takes about one and a half hours, including a break for relaxation and a trip up the dunes to enjoy the beautiful sunset views, snap photos, and go sandboarding.
When you get there, you’ll be greeted in the manner of the desert with mint tea in the Berber Beduin tent where you’ll spend the night.
You’ll enjoy a fantastic Moroccan meal in the evening. After that, enjoy a drum circle and bonfire with a joyful and exciting atmosphere before retiring to your choice sort of private tent to sleep under the stars. You will only bring a backpack for the overnight trip and leave your larger stuff in your vehicle or at our guesthouse.
A dull dawn broke over the Erg Chebbi, Morocco’s tallest and most magnificent sand dunes, and the Sahara Desert. A stunning sunrise over the sand dunes in the early morning is worth getting up for.

Every day at 8:00 in the morning, the bus (Supratours) leaves Marrakech for Merzouga and gets there at 21:00.
- Transportation to the Merzouga Desert from Fes:
Every day at 19:00, the bus (Supratours) travels from Fes to Merzouga and gets there around 06:00.
In this instance, a member of our staff will be waiting for you at the Hassi Labied bus stop (Merzouga area).

For both of our overnight camel rides (Standard & Superior), you won’t need a sleeping bag because the desert camp where you’ll be staying has real mattresses, pillows, and plenty of blankets.
We get there by camel for a real Berber experience during our Merzouga Camel trek and overnight stay in the Sahara. The duration of the overnight camel trek tour is around one hour and thirty minutes, which includes a break for watching the sunset and engaging in sandboarding (if it is an activity you are interested in).

Yes, there are solar panels used at our desert camps during your Merzouga Overnight Camel Trekking, and of course there is a location where you can charge your phone and camera.
In general, Morocco’s days are frequently quite warm. You should wear loose, cool clothing that is comfortable. Bring a jacket or a lightweight cover-up since evenings are frequently cool, especially in the winter.
Although the temperatures in the desert can range from chilly at night to quite hot during the day, you need wear protection from the sun.
